SHIPPING/HANDLING

• A standard shipping fee equal to 10% of the order’s retail total will be added to all domestic invoices.

• All orders will be shipped UPS Ground unless otherwise specified.

• Please allow 4-8 weeks for delivery (unless otherwise negotiated for large custom orders).

• All items are shipped insured.

• Items ordered together may not arrive in the same box; lampshades are shipped separately.

• LightenUp Design must be notified of damaged goods or short shipments within one week of the receipt of the goods. Save all packing materials and call us at (646) 263-7107 as soon as damage is noticed. We cannot honor your claim and replace merchandise unless this procedure is adhered to, as UPS may require that cartons be inspected before making reimbursements.

RETURNS, CREDITS & EXCHANGES

"Custom" merchandise may NOT be returned for exchange or store credit.

"Collection" merchandise may be returned for exchange or store credit within 10 days of receiving your order. All returns must be authorized by LightenUp Designs. Returns without a LightenUp Design issued Return Authorization number will not be accepted. Call (646) 263-7107 for an RA#. Shipping charges on returned merchandise are non-refundable. Buyer will assume shipping and insurance fees for all returned merchandise.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

Ceramic:

LightenUp Design products are handmade from either;

1) earthenware and finished with specially created, custom glazes to provide a dynamic color palate

2) porcelain and glazed only where needed to show off its natural glory

Lighting:

1) All metal parts on the lighting are satin-nickel plated brass.

2) All lighting is designed with a 3-way socket, designed to use a 50-100-150 WATT (or smaller) light bulb

3) All lampshades are included and are custom-made for each lamp type. Because each shade is laminated with an opaque paper backing around a low luster satin weave fabric, light reflects up and down, not out. This feature guarantees the best ambient lighting possible.

4) All lamps come with safety and care instructions, which should be read carefully before use.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Lighting: Always turn off lamp, unplug from the wall outlet, and allow it to cool before cleaning. Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the lamp, and a dry high performance wipe to clean the lamp shade. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners.

TableTop: Hand-wash all ceramic-ware – not dishwasher or microwave recommended.

DESIGN CHANGES

LightenUp Design reserves the right to make minor design changes, alter dimensions, modify materials, as necessary without notice. Since all products and glazes are handmade, color, shape and measurements may vary slightly.
